You Are the Apple of My Eye

Helping audiences re-live sweet memories—the bicycle ride to school, playing ball during class break, staying after school only to get closer to the girl you like, and graduation You Are the Apple of My Eye (《那些年，我们一起追过的女孩》) has them all.

《那些年，我们一起追过的女孩》唤起了观众们鲜活起那些美好的记忆：骑着单车上学，在课间打球，为了放学后和自己喜欢的女孩接近留校，以及关于毕业这些事情。

The film is based on the true story of popular author Giddens Ko’s (九把刀，真名柯景腾) teenage years. Beginning with the grown-up Giddens, played by Ko Chen-tung (柯震东), waiting to attend a wedding, the film then switches back to a 16-year-old Giddens, biking to school while meeting up with his friends on the way.

这部电影取材于著名作家九把刀柯景腾少年时代的真实故事。故事的开头，是由柯震东饰演的成年后的柯景腾，正等着要去参加一场婚礼。然后电影切到16岁的柯景腾，在去学校的路上骑着自行车和朋友们在路上遇见。

Adapted from the novel You Are the Apple of My Eye, the film tells the story of five guys, including Giddens, who strived to win over the heart of classmate Shen Chia Yi (沈佳宜), played by Michelle Chen (陈妍希), who successfully imprints her character onto the hearts of audience both in Taiwan and mainland China.

电影改编自《那些年，我们一起追过的女孩》这篇小说，故事讲诉了五个人物的故事。其中包括柯景腾想要讨得同班同学沈佳宜的欢心，沈佳宜由陈妍希扮演。她所扮演的这个人物形象在台湾和大陆都深得人心。

The film comprises three parts: high school, university and the days after graduation. Each part illustrates a different phase of the relationship between Giddens and Shen Chia Yi.

这部电影主要有三个部分组成：高中，大学和毕业后的日子。每个部分都讲诉了在不同阶段柯景腾和沈佳宜之间的关系。

The high school part of the movie is the most impressive; it easily reminds the audience of their high school days with the scarred wooden chairs and desks, the girl poking the boy sitting in front of her with a pen, and the school uniforms.

影片中的高中时期给人的印象最是深刻；很容易使观众一起回想起他们的高中日子，伤痕累累的木椅和桌子，拿着笔戳坐在自己前面男生的女生，还有学校校服。

The university years then show how the pair left their hometown and strived to maintain a long-distance relationship, which confronted them with many a real-life challenges.

The post-graduation part further develops each character by showing what they do and where they go, and also gives a tip as of how Giddens began his career as a writer.

“Maybe in an alternate universe, we will be together,” said Giddens to Shen Chia Yi years after their last encounter , which ended in an unfortunate misunderstanding. Not only do Giddens’ words make the audience feel better about the fictional pair, they have also comforted those who may have missed the “apple of their eyes” in days of their youth.

几年之后的最后一次相遇，柯景腾对沈佳宜说：“也许在另一个平行时空里，我们是在一起的”，他们的感情因一个不幸的误解结束。不仅仅是因为柯景腾的话使观众对这虚构的一对恋人产生好感，同时也因为观众们也许在他们年轻的时候也错过了那些当年一起追过的女孩，而使他们产生了共鸣。
