后置形容词的位置

1）形容词在某些不定代词的后面
something, anything, nothing, everying+形容词
someone, anyone, no one, everyone+形容词
somebody, anybody, nobody, everybody+形容词
如：Yesterday I saw something strange in the sky. 昨天我在天空中看见某些奇怪的东西。

2）present（在场的）, here, there, upstairs, downstairs总是在名词后面
名词+present（在场的） 如：people present 在场的人
名词+here, there, upstairs, 或downstairs 如：people there 那儿的人
注：当present意为“目前”时，仍放在名词前面 如：the present situation 目前的形势

3）名词+各种短语
如：介词短语，分词短语，不定式短语，形容词短语，定语从句
The books on the table are mine. 桌子上的书是我的。
The boy standing at the gate is John. 站在门口的那个男孩是John。
There is a lot of work for me to do this afternoon. 今天下午我有许多工作要做。
That is a hill nine hundred metres high. 那是一座900米高的山。
This is the bike which I bought yesterday. 这是我昨天买的自行车。
