On November 4, 2008, Barack Obama, the Deomcratic presidential candidate of the United States, beat his opponent, John McCain, and was elected the 56th president of the U.S. Obama is the first African-American president in American history.

This is now regarded as a social culture of anti-mainstream grassroots.

本意指山上强盗的老窝，现在的意思是盲目的模仿牌子货。缺乏独立的研发（research and development）能力，靠模仿那些大品牌的产品在市场中立足。现在也被看成是反主流的草根社会文化。
