Somehow Tim managed to stop his car thirty metres beyond Dave‘s burning machine. He climbed out. One of the firemen was running up the road， but he was more than a hundred metres away from the burning car. He would never get to Dave in time.

“We must get him away from here，” the fireman said， “It‘s too dangerous.” He tried to push Tim to one side.
“Nobody‘s moving him.” Tom said， and shook off the fireman’s hand. “Nobody‘s moving him until a doctor comes.”
